Fernwood House Garden has entertained special guests and close friends since 2006. From early summer till late spring the Garden opens its gate for outdoor entertaining of a variety of appetizers and finger foods with wine, beer and soft beverages shared over lively conversations and a lot of laughter.
Planted with mostly perennials, the Garden stages red and pink roses, mock orange trees and a variety of lilies, hastas and azaleas. Being 1/3 of the .56 acre lot, the Garden is the spot to ease your mind.
Guests scatter all over the Garden for a private moment of personal conversations getting the latest update of the goings on. Many gather in several groups enjoying friendly banters held back over the 9 months of quiet and unpredicatble Pennsylvania winter and spring seasons.
Our garden had the opportunity to entertain a beautiful Indonesian bride and her entourage for several days in July of 2010. Being American Malaysian hosts ourselves, we embraced her tradition and culture to the fullest and we look forward to more diversity happening at Fernwood House in the future.
